Alongside my love for interior design and decorating, I have also been a keen artist for many years. I have a bold, simplistic style which allows the colour on the canvas to do the talking for me.
I have undertaken many commissions over the years and I am currently working on a collection of paintings for my clients who have a love affair with Farrow and Ball paint (as I do). Working in Farrow and Ball water based eggshell; I create simple geometric designs in colours perfectly suited to a particular room (in most cases it is a room I have just decorated).
Often this enables me to incorporate a much bolder colour that would have been too strong for the room in question but complements it perfectly as an art piece.
I am able to use any shades in the Farrow and Ball range and the combinations are possibly infinite. So whether you would like a subtle piece to enhance calming, elegant walls, or a bold, striking piece to complement your furnishing and accessories, I am able to paint for you a unique piece especially designed for your home. I can of course work with any brand of paint but I find that the Farrow and Ball eggshell is not only durable and wipe-able but the finish is deep and exudes class.
The white outlines of the circles are created using a caulk gun and the line stands proud from the canvas, this is painted in eggshell (‘Pointing’- unless otherwise requested).
I am able to send these canvasses via courier to anywhere in the world and I currently have some of my paintings adorning walls not only across the South West of England but as far afield as Spain, Vancouver and New York.
Generally, I paint on chunky square canvasses ranging in size from 24×24” up to 36×36”. Please click on the images in the gallery above. I am always interested in my client’s ideas and am willing to undertake all manner of commissions and of course, I can use canvasses of different shapes and dimensions to suit any particulars.
Commissions range between £250 and £600 + p&p.
